Just so you know, UpWork is not the only fishing pond to find a new client. As things turn out, LinkedIn has a relatively new service called ProFinder which matches clients with freelancers.
And what’s it cost to join ProFinder? Well, for right now, nada. Just tell them you’re a freelancer, what your skills are and they find clients looking for that skill and introduce the two of you. Pretty sweet.
In fact, in my first week as a ProFinder I’m already in conversation with a potential client.
